Lion's Share Scholarships

Lion’s Share is the ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ Foundation scholarship program that connects eligible University of Arkansas – Fort Smith students with donor-funded awards. By completing one scholarship profile, students may be considered for multiple private scholarships that help reduce the cost of attendance.

Lion’s Share connects ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ students with scholarships funded through the generous contributions of private donors. By completing a simple scholarship profile, students gain access to additional financial resources to help cover the cost of their education.

Who Can Use the Lion's Share Scholarship Portal?

The Lion’s Share Portal is available to currently admitted and enrolled ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ students. Students log in using their ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ account.

If you see a "Forbidden" or "not authorized" message, it usually means you are not yet registered for classes or you are not signed in with your ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ login. Incoming freshmen and current students use their admissions portal to apply for the Foundation scholarships. 

Application Timeline

• Continuing ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ students: The Lion's Share application for the 2026-2027 academic year opens October of 2025. Students are encouraged to complete their profile by February 27, 2026. Applications will be accepted through June 1, 2026.
  
  
• New ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ students (2026-2027): Scholarship matching is completed through the ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ Status Portal as part of the admissions process. 

Please note that Lion's Share is exclusively for ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ Foundation scholarships. Separate applications are required for university-awarded scholarships such as merit-based or prestigious awards.
