Dr. Stephen Berry was born and raised in the great state of Arkansas, where he completed
his first three college degrees before moving to Illinois to complete a Ph.D. in psychology.
Prior to graduating, Dr. Berry worked as a teaching assistant at both Arkansas State and Southern Illinois University and also served as a student researcher in his professors’ research labs. Additionally, he was a consultant at SIU's Applied Research Consultants, a consulting firm that provides actionable insights for public, private, and nonprofit sector clients. While concluding his doctorate, Dr. Berry returned to Arkansas to work as an assistant professor at National Park College.
Dr. Berry is thrilled to now work at ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ. In addition to having fun teaching and conducting his own research, Dr. Berry is forming a research group: the Applied Psychological Science Lab. Much like the professors who once trained him, he will train psychology majors by overseeing student-led research.
